On the third Sunday in May each year the community of Greenbushes hosts a charity fun run.

Participants can select a five kilometre walk/run or a 10 kilometre run through picturesque forest around the town. There are categories for juniors, seniors and veterans and prizes for the best dressed competitors.

The event starts at the Greenbushes Sports Complex off the South Western Highway at the northern entrance to the town.

Each year funds are raised for charity with the proceeds of 2014 and 2015 going to Breast Cancer Network Australia. It is also an opportunity to get the community active and participating in an event that is suitable for families.
